VERY GOOD
Rebound in red cloth with gilt title on spine. Binding is sound, square, and tight. Pages are toned and foxed, particularly to title page. Recipe pages are much cleaner. Handwritten Recipe for oat cakes in pencil on blank page facing title page. Handwritten recipe for fruit cake on a sheet of foxed and fragile paper is laid in. The fiftieth edition dates to the early to mid 1880s.
